What if there was a place, or group of people with whom you could experience authentic life? What if with these people you could let down your guard? Take off all the masks we wear? Ask those questions that we all have? Be yourself? And still know that your friends wouldn’t bail out on you? Wouldn’t that be a great community to be a part of? We think so!

That is our hope in The River Community. We want to be an authentic community where people can journey through life together– instead of taking on the diverse difficulties and complexities of living in the modern world. Life is hard enough, no one should go it alone.

And many in these days of a pluralistic culture have deep spiritual questions– and we have questions also. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we hope and believe we are heading in a great direction.

If you are looking for a community of people who are wanting find true happiness in life= then The River may just be the community for you. We hope you’ll let us have a chance to meet you and spend some time getting to know you. We also, hope that you’ll join us as we try to help bring hope in our world starting right here in the NW panhandle of Florida.
